How does Gold Detector work?
This free app uses a combination of a magnetic sensor and a mobile phone's built-in GPS to determine the location of any metal object. This combination makes it much more effective than other apps that use GPS alone.
Once the app is open, select the method you want to use to locate the object. In the case of a metal object, you will be able to choose between the two most common methods: the grid method and the magnetic method.
In the grid method, the app will create a grid of points in the area that you want to search.
